How God Became a Family

God as Creator

In the empty void before the beginning of time and space there was the One. He did not come into existence – He was self-existent and, therefore, immortal (Jn. 5:26; 1Tim. 6:16). He existed and He was thus a being (or that which exists). The ancient Hebrews referred to Him as Eloah and the Chaldeans as Elahh. This word came down to the Arabs as Allah. He was singular and alone (see Deut. 32:15,17; Job (42 places); Ezra 4:24 to 7:26; Dan. 3:25; Prov.30:4-5). He Was.

Eloah was a spirit (Jn. 4:24). He did not act on whim or impulse. He simply thought about what He would do. In this vast pre-eternity, as pure spirit, He explored the potential of His actions. He does not change (Jas. 1:17; Mal. 3:6) or experiment. He is thus immutable. He thought through the enormous expanse of what lay ahead. This all-powerful Being of pure spirit examined the complex interconnected structure (or matrix) of all true propositions. He examined the cause and effect of each action that He would take, and all that sprung from His acts. He thought forward to the end of the entire process of His actions and the consequence of each and every reaction. As there was no matter or physical existence, all of these actions were connected by theoretical relationships in the mind of Eloah. Thus, cause and effect (or the structure of causation) was based on theoretical relationships (see Creation: From Anthropomorphic Theology to Theomorphic Anthropology (No. B5)).

He understood the full extent of the nature of all true propositions. He knew all truth. As He was pure spirit, this knowledge was instantiated in His essence as Truth. He was Truth (Deut. 32:4). He was able to declare the end from the beginning. He was thus omniscient (all knowing) (Isa. 46:10; Ps. 147:5; Mat. 24:36; 1Tim. 6:16).

He knew what was logically possible to be done and He knew how He could do it. He was omnipotent (all powerful) (Mk. 14:36; Lk. 1:37).

He knew what was good from the consequence of His omniscience and His nature. Hence, he was good (Ps. 34:8). From the balance of goodness and truth in His essence of being, he was righteous (Ezra 9:15). From His nature He was righteous and, hence, holy (Lev. 19:2). In this balance He was perfect (Mat. 5:48).

Abiding in perpetuity, He desired to extend His mode of existence and to share that mode of existence with others who would be like Him. In short, He desired a family of beings like Himself acting as One. In this desire, He had established from the basis of His nature how that extended being should operate. That nature of interaction or system of operation was set as His Law. His Law, which proceeded from His nature, was thus also righteous (Ps. 119:172), perfect (Ps. 19:7), holy (Rom. 7:12), good (Rom. 7:12), truth (Ps. 119:142). He thus determined To be what He would become. This aspect was revealed much later to the Hebrews as ‘eyeh ‘asher ‘eyeh or I will be what I will be (or become; see Companion Bible, n. to Ex. 3:14).

He knew that for the product of His activity to be eternal or everlasting it must be as He was. It must govern itself as He Himself was governed and it must interact along the Laws that determined His own Being.

The Generation of the Sons of God

He decided to produce His family according to number and sequence, unfolding His Plan from that predetermined sequence (Isa. 40:25-26 cf. Num. 24:17; Ps. 147:4 re stars). Within that Plan there must be freedom to act, both in the education phase of His family and for their mode of existence, otherwise He would merely have created a mechanical process and, hence, robots and not a replication of Himself. The only thing He could not do was die. He intended to give that capacity to His family.

He created all things in accordance with a structure represented by this number and sequence. The number sequence was based on “One” as the unity He Himself was. We will see that He used His image as the basis of the individuals that were to make up His family. He created His family in His image – both the spiritual and the later physical sub-families (2Cor. 4:4; Col. 1:15; 3:10). They were to become two sides of the same structure, both developing each other to final perfection.

We will come to see later from His structure of the physical creation that the entire relationship of the God family was based on combinations of two and five within the complete number of twelve. This number became the foundation of the entire spiritual edifice of His family, which is called the City of God (Rev. 21:12; see the paper The City of God (No. 180)).

He made an image of Himself symbolised by the numerical system of five. He produced a spiritual superstructure of five, and with two He determined the structure of the Holy Spirit. This Spirit became the power by which He would give His family eternal life and His capabilities. The Holy Spirit was composite of the power of the seven spirits of God, which are symbolised as before His Throne in the Council. Thus, His children made in His image when given the Holy Spirit based on the substructure of the seven spirits of God (Rev. 1:4; 3:1; 4:5; 5:6) would be perfect, based on His image and His spirit as seven and five. He would later delegate this power to the Host through Messiah (Rev. 5:6). Thus, twelve was the number on which He would create His extension or extended being. This extended being was to be in two phases, the spiritual and the physical, one following the other but based on the same system. This structure is outlined in the parables of the Kingdom of God as the feeding of the multitude and also in the shewbread of the Temple (Mat. 14:17-19; 15:34-36; 16:9-10; see the paper The Lord's Supper (No. 103)). The heavenly system was to have some advantages and some difference. For example, they would be asexual and have no interaction as male and female and, hence, not be able to reproduce true children of God from themselves. All are called sons of God and in the resurrection the structure will revert to asexuality as sons of God (Mat. 22:30; Lk. 20:34-36). Moreover, the concept of this extended being or family was as one interacting composite where God is One God and Father of all and above all and in all (Eph. 4:6).

Eloah proposed to generate His children conditional to obedience and hence the form they took was of two parts of image and extension. Thus the Holy Spirit was the conditional element, which enabled them to perform as sons of God under the will of God. In this way His ongoing guidance and responsibility to the creation could be exercised. Disobedience would be controlled by removal of the Holy Spirit from the base image.

Eloah began to generate His sons by number and sequence. The first-begotten was from one to two and as three, and then to seven. Based on twelve systems in four divisions, He made twenty-four. This group numbered thirty (Rev. 4:1 to 5:14). This was His primary generation. He continued on to seventy and then to the outer system on to the thousand (Job 33:23).

Job 33:23  If there be for him an angel, a mediator, one of the thousand, to declare to man what is right for him; (RSV)

From the thousand, He continued to generate until the spiritual family was complete in their multitude. The human system would replicate this structure as an exact image of the heavenly Tabernacle and system (Lk. 10:1,17; Acts 1:15; Heb. 8:5). Their structure extended to and beyond 144,000 (Rev. 7:1-17) on to the whole of the creation (Rev. 20:11-15).

These sons of God were the first acts of God. From this action He became the Father of Spirits (Heb. 12:9). He became God as the Father from the generation of the sons of God. From this act He became multiple and hence as elohim, which is plural. Before the beginning, there was only Eloah. The elohim were the beginning or arche of the creation of God (Rev. 3:14). He and the sons were elohim but he was haElohim or The Elohim. He was the One True God (Jn. 17:3; 1Jn. 5:20) or Eloah. The category of elohim is a product of Eloah’s will and an act of His power. From this action, the sons of God could say that they had one Father who created us all (Mal. 2:10). The sons of God were given the Holy Spirit and they communicated through that medium. Through the Holy Spirit they were united with Eloah or haElohim and as elohim. He revealed His nature and purpose to them, being the only wise God and immortal and invisible (1Tim. 1:17).

1Timothy 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (KJV)

Note that the RSV, based on the texts, deletes the word wise here on the basis that the texts omit the term. Bullinger considers it crept in from Romans 16:27.

Romans 16:27  to the only wise God be glory for evermore through Jesus Christ! Amen. (RSV)

He was the One who sat on the Throne (Rev. 4:2).

God anointed two of His sons as Covering Cherubs of the Council of the Elohim – the prototokos or first-begotten of this creation (Col. 1:15) of the sons of God (Ps. 45:6-7; Heb. 1:8-9) and Azazel, the being we now know as Satan (Ezek. 28:14-16).

Ezekiel 28:14-16  Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. 16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. (KJV)

These beings were perfect in the sum of their wisdom from the moment of their generation. From this generation of the sons of God, the first phase of the spiritual family had been enacted. God had not as yet revealed the full aspects of the second phase. He was to conceal that in the mystery within Himself, revealing the full extent only through the physical family by stages. Thus, the spiritual creation also had to walk by faith (1Pet. 1:12). From the generation of the sons, they existed; hence they were. They became one with God through the power of the Holy Spirit. Hence, before Abraham was, Messiah is (Jn. 8:58).

The modification of the Spirit and the generation of the sons began relativity. As the sons of God moved in relation to each other, things began to alter and, hence, there was past tense – thus, time began. Eloah was supreme in this sequence. He had allocated all things by purpose and time – hence He was the King of the Ages (1Tim. 1:17) and God of the Ages (cf. Ecclesiasticus 36:17; Isa. 9:6; Jer. 10:10; see the paper The Government of God (No. 174)).

He gave instruction to the prototokos or first-begotten, the beginning of the creation of God (Rev. 3:14). This prototokos organised the sons of God into divisions and administrations and thrones and principalities and powers according to the will of God, but God created all things (Eph. 3:9; Col. 1:15; Rev. 4:11; note the words by Jesus Christ are not in the ancient texts of Eph. 3:9 and were inserted into the Receptus and, hence, the KJV). God, who created all things, hid His Plan as a mystery.

Ephesians 3:9  and to make all men see what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things; (RSV)

The children were sons of God and stood in relation only to God as Father of Spirits at this time. Hence, there were no angels (or messengers) at this time. That function of messenger and ministering spirit only came much later. The will of God was communicated to the sons in the Holy Spirit through the Father’s willing self-disclosure.

God gave a number of things before the beginning of time as a result of His absolute foreknowledge or omniscience. The most important thing was grace. Grace was given before the beginning of time or eternal times (2Tim. 1:9, chronõn aiõniõn or eternal times, wrongly rendered before the world began in KJV).

Grace was given as a product of the Holy Spirit to the image of God and hence the number of grace is recognised as five. Thus, grace is a product of the omniscience or the unlimited understanding of the Father (Ps. 147:5). Eternal life is thus also a product of this omniscience before time began (Tit. 1:2; wrongly rendered ages ago, see Marshall’s Greek-English Interlinear main text). Eternal life was given to the sons as a function of their generation through the Holy Spirit and the construction of their image in spirit. They possess life from the grace of God. Thus, Eloah was from this phase both Father and as Elohim, a family with many sons. He was Eloah and haElohim. He is thus the Elyon or Most High God (Gen. 14:18; Num. 24:16; Deut. 32:8; Mk. 5:7). He is the Yahovah of Hosts.

The Physical Creation

God purposed the next phase of the creation. He intended to produce a physical creation in which the spirit was able to confine and control the nature of existence. He did this so that another phase or teaching medium could be given to the sons of God. From this medium they could learn both obedience and faith in their Father.

God began the physical creation. With the finger of His mind He willed the spirit to begin a process of adjustment so that a solid realm could be created from that which was invisible and immaterial. This was achieved in the following way. The immaterial spirit was placed in relation to itself by rotation at speed and by force. This aspect determined distance between the substructure and hence gave it varying properties. From this arrangement of rotating spirit, the sub-atomic system was created.

This initial process was so intense and so dense by its proximity to itself. We understand this process as the Big Bang or the point of origin of the physical universe. This origin of the universe emanated from God as His product using the relativity of the spiritual creation, which is not seen (Heb. 1-3). The things that are seen are temporal. The things that are unseen are eternal (2Cor. 4:18). Countless ages later, punier minds would look back and see this process and determine by mathematics what they would call phase-space-volume selection. They would know that the origin of the physical universe had to be from one point only and no other. They would determine numerically that this phase-space-volume was 10 to the 10th power to the 123rd power. This number was so big it could not be written down in the normal way, even by putting a zero on all sub-particles of matter in the universe. This merely demonstrates that it could only have been confined to the one place and one place only; namely, the point at which God chose to originate the universe.

From this activity, God became the creator and sustainer of the heavens, the Earth and all things therein (Gen. 1:1; Neh. 9:6; Ps. 124:8; Isa. 40:26,28; 44:24; Acts 14:15; 17:24-25; Rev. 14:7).

The spiritual force used to create this material creation moved at such power and speed that it began the expanding universe. It needed to separate sufficiently far enough so that it could reorient itself as atoms and molecules of varying weights and complexity such that solids, liquids and gases became possible. As the matter joined in varying concentrations, so the galaxies were formed. Within the galaxies, matter re-concentrated to a sufficient density such that systems were formed and at critical mass they were ignited. This ignition was from nuclear reactions, which released the power of the sub-structure of the spirit within controlled sequences. In the physical beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth (Gen. 1:1).

The sons of God were divided into administrative systems. The universe was divided into four sectors (or quadrants). These were placed under a Being represented as a Living Creature. Each of the sectors was of three systems, with two of the Council to a system. In this way, there were twenty-four Elders in the Council with the four Living Creatures and the first-begotten or prototokos. At this time, the rebellion had not taken place and Azazel was the second anointed one.

The purpose of the physical creation was unfolded as a mystery. The sons of God had to proceed by faith. The capacity of creation was allowed to the sons of God as part of the Council of the Elohim (Gen. 1:26). The sons of God were assembled and sang for joy at the creation of this planet by Eloah. The systems had been placed under Morning Stars as leaders.

Job 38:4-7  "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. 5  Who determined its measurements -- surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? 6  On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone, 7  when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? (RSV)

The entire universe had been placed under a system of government and order that we see mirrored later in the Tabernacle of the Hebrews (Heb. 8:5). Azazel was made Morning Star or Light Bearer for this planet (Isa. 14:12) and He was made elohim of this planet (2Cor. 4:4). Messiah is the Morning Star or Day Star designated to replace him (Num. 24:17; 2Pet. 1:19; Rev. 2:28; 22:16).

This planet was populated with created beings that were not based on our mammalian system. The Morning Star in charge of this planet produced a life system based on a reptilian system, which appears to have had some remarkable capacities. Intelligent life as we know it is thought by modern science to be only capable within plus or minus two million years of the life of the main star systems. We see from our excavation of the past that humanoids began to appear on this planet quite recently in the life of the system. What we would class as humanoids, as opposed to human-like primates, are very recent. 100,000 years ago the Neanderthals appeared and they were replaced about 40,000 years ago with another system much like ours.

At some stage in this structure, God revealed in part to His sons what the purpose of the physical creation would be. The full mystery was withheld from them and only revealed much later through the Church (1Pet. 1:12). Some of these Beings did not exercise faith in the Father and rebelled. Azazel took one third of the Host in this rebellion. At least until the time of Job, all of the sons of God had access to the Throne of God, and Satan was among them (Job 1:6; 2:1).

The exact nature of the rebellion seems to have involved a devastation of this planet and is probably the intent of the passage in Genesis 1:1-2. The planet had to be refurbished and a man created that could unfold the next sequence of the Plan of God. This was the Adamic creation. This man was in the image of God so that the Spirit could be given to him. The sons of God during this entire phase were not, and could not, be classed as angels. The category did not commence until after the creation of Adam, as until that time there was no need for such a category of being; namely, a messenger. For until such time as there existed a recipient of a message, there could be no messenger.

With the creation of the Adamic system came rebellion and sin. Azazel sinned in his attitude, and the sons of God with him sinned in their relationship with humans.

During this phase of the fall, we see the creation of the Nephilim or the Rephaim (see the paper The Nephilim (No. 154)).

The sons of God sinned in this and in a later process (Jude 6).

The creation of the Neanderthals, Cro-Magnons and the Rephaim or Nephilim involved a period of 100,000 years. No resurrection is accorded to Neanderthals, the Cro-Magnon, the Rephaim or the Nephilim (Isa. 26:13-14; cf. the paper The Resurrection of the Dead (No. 143); The Nephilim (No. 154) and The Fall of Egypt  (No. 36): the Prophesy of Pharaoh’s Broken Arms.

At some stage in this process, a destruction of the planet took place. The creation of Genesis 1:1 became tohu and bohu or without form and void. The text in Genesis 1 is also of the generations of the heavens and the Earth. Each generation is represented by a day as we see from the narrative. Yet it is plainly called a generation (Heb. toledâh SHD 8435 from SHD 3205) in the plural only, which means a descent or family, hence, a history and thus birth or generations. This word is quite unlike dôr (SHD 1755), which is the word usually used for generations and meaning a revolution of time. Thus the concept is made of a history of descent, as also in a family.

The story of Genesis says clearly that the creation of the herbs and trees was in the third day and restated in the sixth day after all living creatures. This creation and placement in the heavens was before the Sixth day.  This indicated we are looking at a recreation. We know beyond doubt from the fossil record that the account here is not in accordance with the development of the planet over the millions of years of its life history. This account can only be one of the regeneration of the planet and is the re-creation referred to in John 1:10 that was undertaken by the Logos or prototokos. This could only have been consequent to a destruction. Moreover, this Being appeared to Adam and Eve. We know that John 1:18 says that: “No man has seen God ever”. The only born God (monogenes theos), that one being in the bosom of the Father, spoke (see Marshall’s Greek-English Interlinear RSV).

Genesis 6:2 states that the sons of God bred with the daughters of men.

Genesis 6:2  the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were fair; and they took to wife such of them as they chose. (RSV)

The New Oxford Annotated Bible RSV says in the footnote to this verse – 2: “The sons of God were divine beings who belonged to the heavenly court (1.26 n.). 3: Despite the lustful intrusion of divine beings into the human sphere, man did not become semi-divine (compare 3.22-24) but remained a mortal creature in whom the Lord’s spirit dwells temporarily (see 2.7 n.).” Thus, the Nephilim could not attain to the resurrection and the Holy Spirit.

The Trinitarians insist that John 1:10 refers to the original creation and, because it is in conflict with Revelation 4:11 and Ephesians 3:9 (RSV), they then claim the Trinity is established as a fact. The illogic of this position has then placed them at odds with the historical record. They are then faced with acknowledging the evolution theory because of the conflict. The Catholic Church formally adopted the theory of evolution in 1996 rather than give up the false doctrine of the Trinity.

Signs in the Heavens

In Genesis 1:14, it is recorded that God established the lights in the heavens for day and night, for signs and for seasons, and for days and for years. The movement of the heavens is exactly predictable by conjunction in relation to itself. Each of these activities is exact, even down to the conjunction of the New Moon and to the length of days and seasons and years. The year is designed in the phase of twelve months, whether solar or lunar, with an intercalary year seven times in nineteen years. The phase of movement of the sun through the heavens is in twelve stages or houses, and this duration of the year as set in the heavens also can be seen to mark the Plan of God’s activities as a sign of His creation.

The duration of the lunar-solar (or lunisolar) year as determined from the northern vernal equinox in March each year is in the relationship also of seven to five. The sacred stages of the Calendar are from Nisan to Tishri – from the First to the Seventh month. In this way, the same relationship between man being made in the image of God and man as a son of God through the Holy Spirit is demonstrated. Thus, the same relationship exists for the earthly sons of God from their adoption as it was set for the heavenly sons of God from their generation.

The old calendar starting from Tishri is actually based on the spirit of man. The new calendar starting from Nisan commences the Holy Spirit in man through the Passover that is Messiah. Unleavened Bread represents salvation and Pentecost represents the Church. The Seventh month (Tishri) represents the intervention in the planet and the redemption of all mankind over the millennial system to the Last Great Day. Calculating the year from the Molad of Tishri denies the Messiah and the receipt of the Holy Spirit in this process.

God created man with responsibility for the planet (Gen. 1:26; 2:15). In the same way, He gave the heavenly sons of God responsibility for the universe and for the welfare of man. With the creation of man, God established the role of the sons of God as messengers, and not before. The Being given responsibility for Adam was Yahovah Elohim. This Being was the prototokos or logos of God. That was the elohim that the patriarchs saw and with whom they spoke. This Being was the Angel of Redemption and the Angel of Yahovah or the Presence of God (Gen. 48:15-16; Zech. 12:8; Acts 7:30-32). The sons of God became ministering spirits for mankind so that they might obtain salvation (Heb. 1:14).

God allocated the nations from the post-Flood system to the seventy sons of God of the Inner Council. The Logos (or first-begotten as Yahovah of Host’s delegate) was given Israel for his responsibility which had to be drawn from other nations.

Deuteronomy 32:8-9  When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of men, he fixed the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. 9  For the LORD's portion is his people, Jacob his allotted heritage. (RSV)

After the death of Christ, this text was altered in the MT by the rabbis to read according to the sons of Israel and that is followed in the KJV. We know for certain that the LXX and the DSS show that this meaning in the RSV is the correct and ancient one. Rabbi Akiba declared the LXX incorrect from 130 CE. However, the text is correct and the nations were allotted according to the sons of God. The term Lord here is Yahovah, which was also altered by the Sopherim to conceal the identities of the Beings involved. Yahovah is the subordinate of Yahovah of Hosts who sent him. Yahovah of Hosts anointed him as elohim above his partners (Ps. 45:6-7; Heb. 1:8-9). He was given Israel because that nation was to be the means by which all of the Host and all of the creation would be reconciled as a family to God over the period of the physical creation. God wanted a spirit of service and self-sacrifice to be evident among His sons and, as such, He declared that the leader of the system must be able to demonstrate that sacrifice. That is why Messiah was nominated in the “book of life” as were all the elect from before the laying down of the foundation of this planet (Rev. 13:8).

Revelation 13:8 and all who dwell on earth will worship it, every one whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain. (RSV)

From this text in the RSV we see the correct rendering. We were all written in the book of life before the foundation of the world. Not only was Christ dedicated to be slain, but also we were declared saved by grace from that time. Christ had to display an attitude that was critical to his appointment as High Priest. Satan had rebelled. What God wanted was obedience. Christ made himself of no account and took human form so that we might all be saved.

Philippians 2:5-11 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (RSV)

God bestowed on Messiah His name, which is above every other name. Messiah takes the titles of honour by delegation from God the Father. He became Yahovah Elohim and High Priest. He became an everlasting father of our fatherhood or patria so that we might bow to God the Father for whom every patria or fatherhood in Heaven and Earth is named (cf. Isa. 9:6 (the Angel of Great Counsel, LXX); Eph. 3:14-15). Christ obtained a more excellent ministry (Heb. 8:6). By offering himself, he became the mediator of a new covenant because he purified the heavenly things and not just the earthly things. By his sacrifice he sanctified the heavenly Host and the earthly human Host. He who sanctifies and they who are sanctified are of one origin (Heb. 2:11 RSV). He had to assume human form so that we also might be sanctified by his actions. Christ came to do the will of the Father and only after he had done that and offered one sacrifice for sins forever, he was set down on the right hand of God (Heb. 10:5-9,12). Christ endured the cross for the joy that was set before him and for this reason is set down on the right hand of God (Heb. 12:2).

(cf. the paper The Pre-Existence of Jesus Christ (No. 243)).

God is the Father of Spirits, who chastises us for our profit. Thus, the spirits are His sons as are we all His sons. Christ became a son of God in power from his resurrection from the dead (Rom. 1:4).

Romans 1:4 and designated Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord, (RSV)

He was designated as son of God in power according to the Holy Spirit from his resurrection from the dead. Christ did not possess this position intrinsically, and he did not possess the full status from his pre-incarnate position even though he was in a glorified state as he himself says (Jn. 17:1-5). The Bible does not contradict itself without making the contradiction necessary for the correct understanding of the nature of the problem. Christ was not immortal of himself. Only God is immortal of and by Himself (1Tim. 6:16). Christ was given to have life in himself as the Father has life in Himself (Jn. 5:24-26).

John 5:24-26  Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me, has eternal life; he does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. 25 "Truly, truly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself, (RSV)

Messiah said that the Father has life in Himself and He has given the son to have life in himself. He also says that No man has heard God’s voice or seen His form at any time (Jn. 5:37).

John 5:37  And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness to me. His voice you have never heard, his form you have never seen; (RSV)

The Holy Spirit is the mechanism by which the elect are sons of God. We receive the down payment on our baptism, and the redemption or the full allocation on the adoption, which is the redemption of our bodies.

Romans 8:11-17  If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit which dwells in you. 12 So then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh -- 13 for if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live. 14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the spirit of sonship. When we cry, "Abba! Father!" 16 it is the Spirit himself bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. (RSV)

Romans 8:22-23  We know that the whole creation has been groaning in travail together until now; 23 and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. (RSV)

We also are destined to be co-heirs with him as sons of God from our resurrection from the dead. We were predestined to receive the adoption as sons (Eph. 1:5; Gal. 4:5) from before the foundation of the world. We are meant to be sons of God in power from the resurrection. We will be joined with the angelic Host as sons of God under the High Priesthood of Melchisedek being vested in Messiah (Heb. 5:6,10; 6:20; 7:1-21).

The final union of the entire creation occurs at the end of the Second (or general) Resurrection for the dead, when the City of God is brought down and all is placed under God the Father so that He may be all in all (Eph. 4:6) (see the paper The City of God (No. 180)). The angelic Host are our brothers (Rev. 6:11; 12:10). They are our brothers because they also are sons of God, as we are from the First Resurrection (see Rev. 20:1-6). The text in 1Corinthians 6:2-4 refers to judging the fallen Host and this has often caused misunderstanding. The angels are also the elect (1Tim. 5:21).

The Holy Spirit is the mechanism by which this all-pervasive union of the creation with God can occur so that all are His sons and all are of one origin under one God and Father (see the papers The Holy Spirit (No. 117) and Consubstantial with the Father (No. 81)). His sons are elect according to His foreknowledge (1Pet. 1:2). That is why they are predestined, chosen, called, justified and glorified (Rom. 8:29-30).

The Trinitarian structure strikes at the very heart of the understanding of the Plan of God and prevents its adherents from understanding the process by which the entire creation can become sons of God and co-heirs with Christ. The false or pseudo-Christian piety that attributes to Christ as son of God in distinction from the Host is done out of ignorance and neo-Platonist philosophy. God allows this confusion because He is not dealing with the world as yet. It is still under the rulership of Satan who is the god of this world, and who has been given a time-period for his system to play itself out.

Satan’s system will destroy this planet. God will intervene by sending Messiah back to take over the planet when it is almost destroyed, for the sake of the elect, which is both spiritual and physical Israel (Isa. 42:1; 45:4; Mat. 24:22). In that way we, like little children, will see that the system of our Father under His Law is correct. God desires obedience but is only revealing His Plan to a few at present. His entire system is there for all to see, but few understand because they are deliberately misled by their teachers.

God became a family from the generation of the Host in the first instance. He did not complete this act of Fatherhood and will not complete it until the final phase after the judgment and the conversion of the planet. All of the planet then will be sons of God as elohim under the will of God acting in the Holy Spirit as one cohesive organism, which we call the family of God.
